I just purchased a set of eibachs and have been doing some reading and searching about matching them up with my stock struts until I come across a set of tokicos....may be a little bouncy but that is not really an issue with me....my stock struts seem to be in great shape..just not wanting to waste my money on struts until I come across some tokicos....advice and thoughts welcome! Anyone else currently running with eibachs and stock struts?

Since Tokico isn't making them for our cars anymore I wouldn't be so excited to find some. They only last for so long, and chances are most of the good lifespan miles are used up when you find used ones for sale.

Stiffer springs should not be used with OEM or OEM level struts. The Eibachs will not provide a performance increase alone or much of a ride height decrease. In fact, your handling will probably suffer as a result.

It's also more work and more money spent to do a strut/spring job twice along with getting it realigned. I would buy a set of konis and install everything together.

I've been running Eibachs with OEM struts for over two years now, and I don't have that bouncy problem everyone else seems to be dealing with. You can PM Groove83 if you don't believe me, as he's ridden in the car. ****, how close are you to Chicago? I'm about an hour way...YOU can ride in it and make the call.

I have monroe sensa-trak on with my eibach on my wagon. The ride is only bouncy over dips that come one after the other on the highway. I wouldn't call this a performance upgrade as this wasn't happening at all with my stock set up. Go Koni if you can wait it out and save up some money. Just my opinion.

X3 here also .

I have one car with tokicos with the Eibachs with 20,000 mile on them and to me there shot, my other car has the konis with Eibachs and the ride is sweet in that car if your car has 100,000+ the factory struts are shot

just my 2 cents

Jeff
