Koni's maybe a PITA but well worth it! I wouldn't do it any other way.

I'll 3rd it. From prosuspension.com , it's like 25 more for the konis. I'll say it's about 20 minutes labor/strut to install the konis. Not that bad. What year do you have also? I'd take measurements before you order, since there's a 6/92 production split, but some cars have older style replacement struts and some have newer style.

Rumor & heresay on spring / strut combos:

Eibachs & Tokicos

Intrax & Konis

I have the Eibach / Tokico setup & it was nice. I would have liked the ability with the Konis to set to full soft for the street, though.

Eibach technical support recommended the Tokicos to me as being the best match and I am satisfied; much better handling without noticable harshness. Maybe Koni's for a firmer ride.

I put Konis on my 89 and tokikos on the 93. The Konis are a much softer ride with adjustablility. I could jump from one car to the other and the ride comfort was night and day. Konis are the best!!!!

Actually the biggest PITA is just getting the old struts out and the new ones in. The easiest part of the job was assembling the new struts with the inserts. I thought it was even kinda fun.

after replacing all four springs, does one need a "four wheel" or just "front wheel" alignment? i am thinking just fronts but unsure. thanks...

I am using a combination of struts with my Eibachs. I have Tokicos up front and Kybs in back. There is no pogo stick effect and the ride is good yet firm. Doing a four wheel alignment is a must after replacing all four struts and springs.
