Monroes work great with stock ride height springs.

eibach springs are lowering springs.

Not a god combo. The struts will not last long.

They are designed to handle springs with the stock or near stock spring rates. The higher spring rate of the Eibachs will cause them to lose their damping ability prematurely.

I currently have the monroe Sence-a-trac and a set of ebiachs, I LOVE this setup. I have 50k on the suspention with no problems. Besides my Monroes came with a lifetime warrenty.(I think that that comes from the manufactor) Either way the monroe's stiffen up when you hit a bumb or go into a hard turn. If you do go with the monroes aviod the Reflex, It sotfens up when it hits a bump(you dont want that)

I think you are confused. Struts do not "stiffen up" during any situation.
The only thing a strut does is dampen the rebound of the coil spring.

The eibach coils you have do stiffen when pushed hard. Just as the Moog CC's do, as both are progressive coils. The harder they are pushed, the stiffer they get.

The Monroes are good struts (I am using them with my Moog CC's), but they are not performance struts. They are designed as factory replacement struts, to be used with factory coil springs (or factory replacements such as the Moogs). The Eibach coils are performace coils.

blah blah blah...

anyhow, your monroe/eibach setup might work okay. but I highly doubt that the dampening of the struts after 50k is anywhere near the dampening when new. Especially when used with the Eibachs.

i've got eibachs and cheap monroes... Well, i did anyways... and never had a problem. After installing the eibachs, i could hardly even tell a difference in ride height anyways. Even when pulled next to another SHO, couldn't even tell a difference.

sounds like your factory springs were tired :(
before my 93 sho i had a 98 se with eibachs and new ford motorcraft struts and it road like a dream. i never had any problems with mine and it was 1 1/2 inches lower then factory and you could tell the difference
