Question :
Car hesitates from a stop after I've been running it for 45 mins plus. I checked the fault codes (check engine light was on) and I get 327 "EGR feedback signal is/was low" - I've read that if the EGR valve is stuck open it may cause the car to hesitate - anybody have this ?
I've also heard that normally its not the valve but a small passage through the intake that clogs up with coke that causes EGR issues - Anybody ?

The 327 code is due to the signal from the DPFE sensor on the back of the intake outputting a low signal. Probably due to a failign sensor, but check the tubing from the sensor to the EGR tubing and the connections at the top and bottom of the tube. The 332 code where the opening of the EGR valve is not detected is the one that indicates that the EGR passages might be plugged. That is because even thought he valve is opening, the intake vacuum is not detected by the DPFE sensor because the ports at the intake end are plugged up.

Scott thanks for the tips - So if I'm reading your post correctly :
1. Check the tubing from the DPFE sensor to the egr valve.
2. You don't believe that the EGR valve is plugged or the passages ?
3. What if the tubing is in place ? change the valve or the sensor ?

There are two vacuum lines and two short fat hoses. I think this is what Scott was referring to.
