EGR Question

I have a 1993, 3.2L, Automatic, (P) motor. On the back side of the intake near the firewall slightly right of center is a small gray box that I always thought to be my EGR pressure feedback sensor. Rockauto lists a EGR pressure feedback sensor and a EGR valve position sensor. On RockAuto's sight these two devices look exaclty the same. I have only one

any takers?

That is a DPFE it is a EGR presure feedback sensor. It has two hoses to it a big one and a little one. I dont know of a ford that uses a EGR position sensor, normaly that is GM.

That's what I thought; however RockAuto has EGR Posistion sensor listed for a 1993 SHO. It's in the Emissions section of thier online store.

Its not what you are looking for if you notice it has a AC delco part number. I think it is just a universal listing and just pops up under emissions.

rock auto lists a ton of parts under slightly different names that are the same thing. i just got a dpfe sensor from them the other day. it is the same part under both names. go for the airtex though.

my sho has ac delco wires on it. they do make parts for the sho.

AC Delco

AC Delco is a GM company I believe or it always was. They are a seperate division and make after market parts including wires for a lot of makes.
