I have been reading up and I'm just wondering bc i need 2 clean MY EGR ports and my DPFE sensor is bad....Can I just remove these things and cover up the vavle with a piece of sheet metal or something....or how does that work...not really worried about emissions...lemme know THanks.

If your EGR passages are already plugged and you're "not worried about emissions", then don't bother doing anything.

The plugged passages are effectively the same as capping the EGR port.

With no EGR flow, there is nothing for the DPFE sensor to measure anyway, so it will always set the CEL.

Best bet, clean the ports and repair the system so that it works as intended.
