Jump back to 6-7-2011- While driving to my bowling league last night the car started to shimmy and misfire again, the first words out of my mouth were F**K!! Here we go again. It was a good thing I was just about to get off the freeway, as I came to the stop light the car nearly stalls, stumbles and is shaking pretty bad, the last good thing to happen was I was at my destination and pulled right in and parked. I get out of the car go to the trunk to grab my bowling balls and see blue-grey smoked coming from the tail pipes. I go inside set everything down and call my ford dealership and tell them it will be there in the morning, service tech says no problem you can leave the keys in the drop box. So after i'm done bowling I get in the car start it and it instantly turns the parking garage into a smoke house, turn the car off call roadside assistance and have the car towed to the dealership at a 11pm.

8am the dealership call and says the car is safe and they will be pulling it in shortly and asks if I need a rental car? TO me thats a no brainer since I have no car and there is no way it will be fixed by 8pm today.
Now Jump to 4pm today walk up to the service tech Kevin and introduce myself since the only contact we have had has been over the phone, Kevin looks at me and says " Let's get you a rental and make sure you like it, cause your gonna have it a while." From what my wife said the look I gave kevin was down right frightening and she was across the parking lot. Kevin who has been extremely helpful took it in stride, and went into detail how the car had broken at least one piston and that the broken piece had been slammed into the head and cylinder wall. Kevin also said the it will need a completely new motor and that the ecooboost motors are back ordered with NO DATE when one will be available. Kevin was most helpful he gave me a print out of the service history for the car, I also found Fords customer care number online and will be giving them a call to see what thay can do, I dont think its totally out of the question to ask them to buy it back, but will see. To add salt to the wound earlier on 6-7 I spent 3 hours washing and waxing the car and filled it with a full tank of gas..
Now what is really frustrating is the car has been to the dealership a total of 8 times in a 16 month period with some stints there as long as two weeks, out of those 8 visits 3 of them were to fix faulty plugs, coil packs, and injectors. This in my mind should not of happend to a car with just over 23k miles. Once I talk to ford Ill post an update and keep everyone apprised of the situation, and to see if necessary taking legal action.
