Has anyone purchased and installed one these? If so, how do they compare to the OEM arms in terms of quality? I wanna replace my ball joints, but going this route might be easier since they're included.

I thought the ball joint was integral to the steering knuckle on the Gen 3, and not the LCA?

Yeah, they are. I'll PM you the link.

I want to replace the ball joints, but figured if these arms are any good, I'd replace the orginal arms since they'll come with new bushings and the ball joints are included (with this auction). For the price, I can't really go wrong.

I'm just going to replace the ball joints (instead of LCA's), and call it a day. But good lord, the OEM ones are $100 a piece!!!

Fonz, that's not a bad deal for L and R arms, and two new ball joints. If your arms need replacing, then this is the way to go.

If not, then just the ball joints should suffice.

Unless you're buying OEM parts, there's a strong likelihood that it's made in China. When Moog was Moog, this wasn't an issue. Now that they're owned by Federal-Mogul, it's really a crap shoot where the part components come from and where they're assembled. Same goes for Dana owned brands, to a lesser extent.

Honestly, unless it says Motorcraft or Ford on the box, I automatically assume that it's from overseas.

Gen III ball joints are best replaced by OEM parts. Many of the parts store parts wear out twice as quick as the stock ones.

We work closely with Ingalls. There is a difference where it comes from for "overseas". Even if it says Motorcraft or Ford there is a very good chance that it was made "overseas". There are allot of different manufacturing plants around the world some have very good quality, and some don't. Ingalls bought those Gen 3 control arms on E-bay to compare because I was trying to get a better price point to compete. There is a difference. SHO Source will not sell something that we would not install on our own SHO's. So we don't sell the E-bay type ones. :salute:
