OK, so it's time to retire the titanium SHO, but the motor and driveline are still good, so I am planning on keeping them.
Since I am gutting the car completely, it seems to me that the easiest way to get it out will be to essentially unbolt the strut towers, disconnect everything from the firewall, and lift the car up and over the motor (Reader's Digest version, of course, I know the actual novel will play out much, much longer...).
I'll be tossing the shell of the car in the end, so I don't even have to be very nice to the body (ie, cut away annoying bits, like over the rear struts to get the 12 month old rear struts back...).
I did do a search, but 'pull motor' turns up _alot_. I tried other iterations, but nothing came up. I seem to recall a thread that this was a pretty easy way of doing it...
Thanks
Brian
