Help, oh great historians of SHO...

I have an '89, am the original owner, and my seating surfaces (perforated leather) are SHOT! So, I have aims on a parts car, also an '89, which has solid leather seating surfaces.

Is there any possibility these are the original surfaces? Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Well those could be the originals, but I doubt it. Leather likes to wear and tear. :D But, you have a couple of choices. Go with some other seats like your trying. You could have them redone into vinyl, or leather again. (I don't like leather personally) You could have a constant seat cover. Totally take out the seats with racing seats. But don't ruin the SHO class. Or you could get some really expensive SHO logo customs. Someone was trying to do a group buy. But, look for other members answers, cause I am only a child. Plus mine don't run, so I'm unexperienced. 17 years old with a SHO. What more could I want? A girlfriend, oh yeah... heard about those... thumbs_u JK I'm just playin' ladies, ya know I love ya!

I`ve never heard of that,i`d bet the seat leather was replaced at some point. The main reason the seats tear is BECAUSE of the preforated leather.Mine is torn, but i have a fresh piece i cut out of a good seat. Now if i could just get it sewed in and dyed to match.
