I had EATC in my old '89 and the new one is the dial type...am I correct in assuming that the Dial type has no motorized blend door, that when I turn the dial, I'm manually opening/closing it?

My old Blend door went and I just got the fail-safe hot, now I'm hoping I can not worry because the dials in the "new" '89

Just to let you know, the only thing besides the EATC to change is the Blend door Actuator. I just went through this on the SHOWagon.

So the EATC setup uses a motorized Acutator and with the dial, the acutator is the dial?
