Hi all,

What is the best way to tighten up the e-brake so it holds better? I've got strong pressure when pushing the e brake lever down but it just doesn't hold the car well from rolling.

Thanks,
Mike

Their is a mechanism under the car (right under where the drivers side front and rear doors meet) that is made to adjust the E-brake cable so that in a situation such as yours you can adjust it so that it will hold the vehicle. Their is a bolt IIRC that you turn to tighten/loosen it.

Its possible the caliper rack slider pins are stuck and the the piston side pad is the only one making contact. If you look at the pad and see more wear on the inside pads, this is a common problem. It can result in the brakes draging aswell.
