Yes! I've finally got weekends off starting next weekend. I know you guys wanted to go back to FPN, so what do you think of the last weekend of June? This would be two weeks from this weekend. I will call Torrie or Jay on monday if you guys want to try for that weekend. The following weekend is 4th of July weekend, and I know a lot of people will have plans with family. Let me know what you guys think! We can try to plan a little better for dinner this time so we don't have to walk 2 miles in the rain.

Yikes! OK looks like a no go for that weekend since the majority is gonna be out. Let me know if a different weekend would work better for any of you.

I also had another thought for possibly later in the year when it cools down some (October, November-ish). We can get group rates to Disney, Universal, Busch Gardens, things like that. Would you guys want to go and spend a day at a place like that and maybe have a little get together at Race Rock or something afterward? It's close enough that any of us could drive there and back in the same day if we had to. It's not necessarily SHO-related but would be a nice little weekend getaway for everyone to hang out. Plus, I'm dying to go on that new coaster at Busch Gardens.

Busch Gardens would be great...shekra (sp?) the new rolley coster is supposed to be bad a$$. Sea World would be good too because I have 2 free tickets

Also Tara and Nick, you guys can come down the 20th if you like. Jason has the whole day off and can get you whatever you need if it is before I get off work. I will try and call Nick tomorrow...working so much sucks, but it buys pretty things ;)

if you guys dont mind a ride to ft laud, there is a dyno jet at mustang speacialties that we can invade for the day, I can warn the owner Tim he wont mind a bit, just an idea shot into the air here, plus ft laud isnt too boring a place to hang out. the lady mentioned FPN, where is that located?

That's cool, I wouldn't mind driving down there if you wanna get in touch with the people and set something up when we can agree on a date, that'd be cool.
Chris, I'll talk to Nick about the 20th. What time do you get off work? He wanted go kills some time and go to Choppers Inc anyway (we missed it when we were supposed to go to that car show!), so we really aren't in a hurry or anything.

Just make sure they can SCT chip. There are a few people that want to get chipped.

I'm up for going somewhere, but the SHO probably won't be ready for a little while. I've yet to receive my cams.

However I did FINALLY get the engine and trans in the car this weekend. I'm so glad to reach that milestone. It fought the whole way, but in the end I was victorious. Now I have lots of little projects that need to be completed before she hits the road again.

what dates are good for you guys? I can pretty much make any day available, as long as no DC3 planes crash ontop of these guys, as far as the sct chipped people, the mechanic there IKE might be able to do the service, he does them for mustangs, plus there is a complete machine shop there too... blocks, heads, etc etc...

I talked to Tim and Ike and they just need a few weeks notice for any dyno session, so come up with a date you would like to meet and Im sure they can make time, for some yamapowered fords, I may dyno mine before the session and Ill post the results in the near future. you can email tim for any questions at [email protected]

So are they SCT dealers? If they are doing it for Mustangs, I'd think they'd be able to for SHO's, but I'd want to make sure beforehand so we don't run into the same little glitch we had last time at FPN. ;)
I'm thinking we are probably going to have to make it at least 6 weeks from now because the Convention is a month away now and I doubt anyone will have time/money before then. I know I won't.

I asked about the sct and they said no they dont use that system, the only one they use is diablo sport, dunno if thats a bad thing? I know for a fact that tuning computers left into the hands of someone that dosent own the car isnt such a great idea, someone can really mess up a good tune, its really hard to find a tuner that really knows what they are doing, usually more hassle than its worth. that dosent mean you cant find someone.

I agree with you on that voogru. Good tuners are few and far between.

FWIW, I know a couple Mustang guys who use Diablo tuning, but I don't know anything about it or if it can be used on the SHO.
