How hard/doable would it be to have your primary fuel system running on 91+ octane and an auxiliary race gas tank holding 2-3 gallons that could be switched on? Would something like this be as much or more work as running meth injection? Could you add injectors for the race gas into the intake manifolds in addition with the 91+ octane direct injection for more fuel? May keep the intake valves cleaner too as a benefit? May get backfiring into the intake system?

Meth injection would be easier but newer Ford's are doing 12 injectors to keep the ports clean and more power. So it may not be to long till they have a cheapish kit for the sho so we can hope . Ecoboost performance is selling intake with injectors and the second ecu to run everything already.

If you have the money I'd go gas and meth or just start with meth.

If you are more serious about this I'd find the best tuning company near you to talk with about different ways of planning your tune for this.

You know I really like people who think up different ways of doing things, it does seems to me though that is a whole lot of work to do pretty much the same thing meth does. Additionally I would think you have to stop and change over your "Tune" to take advantage of the race gas. It seems to me some people have rigged up a system where they had an extra tank they would keep octane booster in but I don't think that was adjustable, it was just a constant additive. Oh well. interesting though but too much work for me anyway.
