Dropping the tranny

Finally got a replacement tranny for my 91. It's all prepped and ready with a new TOB. I saw some pictures a while back on the mount for the engine so you can drop the tranny out the bottom. Any1 still have that picture around so I can get an idea on how to support this thing w/o having to guess? Also anything special I need to know, tips, tricks whatever?

contact sdpatt, he made a pretty nifty brace for the engine. Also you can use an engine hoist if you have one.

As for tips, just take your time and do it smart. Everything that needs to be undone is pretty obvious.

You can view his pictures of his brace and clutch replacement by clicking HERE and using '269k' for the password. Then select the "271K Clutch & Transaxle" photo album.

That should give you some good ideas of what you're looking at. It also might be worth the $30 for Josh's clutch video which by all accounts covers the procedure in meticulous detail.

I don't think the video will be necessary, just needed an idea on the brace. I have a few ideas of my own, just want to know where everyone is supporting the motor thanks again.
