So today I was attempting to put a filter on the rear BOV as I did the vent to atmosphere mod. I was adjusting a hose clamp above the engine compartment and accidentally dropped it down the engine bay and never saw it again. I spent an hour looking for it with no success. I tried every nook and cranny but no sign of it. ( yes I checked the garage floor:) Is this something I should lose sleep over as I know it's going to haunt me. I'm sure the tranny and such are sealed up good but its driving me nuts not knowing what happened to it. I took a test drive and put it through the paces and it seems perfectly normal. I assume its sitting on top of some shroud or something. Anybody have a similar experience and or had issues with a dropped item into an engine compartment?

Hope to be put at ease with your help.

Try magnet stick. You may have some luck with that. Did you drop the pan underneath? it may be sitting in there. I hate dropping stuff in the engine compartment. Drives me bonkers!

I didn't put anything on my BOV's. All they do is blow out.
