I have my 3.2 installed and its giving me no problems, Its just after reaching full warmth at idle, which is about 3/4ths the way up on the guage, it kinda drops in rpm for a second and then returns and this happens about every 40-60 seconds. It dosen't happen any other time, only at idle when full warmth. I was thinking "maybe its when the fans kick on" but its not. Its not running rich by any means, do you think it could be running lean?

Please help me

if its really repetetive on a strict time scale then what im about to suggest probably does not apply, but have you tried resetting your idle? checking the IAB? let us know how it turns out, maybe someone else will have more ideas. i would tend to think running lean is not your problem, if you were running lean over a long time you would probably get a CE light when you drive it, i know i did. i could be wrong on this though. you should check your codes either way.

I think the one of 2 things are my problem. When I put my old intake off and put it back on, I cleaned it but it still had some carbon buildup (other engine never warmed up and ran risc all the time, and yes I had the cats replaced). And the idle reset. How do you reset the idle? I'm not a beginner, I'm just now starting to get mechanicly inclined.

one of the forum members (spdatt) posted a good procedure on doing this, i recommend you follow his. i dont know it off hand but i know its in the search somewhere. i know theres a procedure out there for cleaning the IAB as well, i plan on doing it this weekend myself. if you have a bad carbon buildup that could be causing a lean condition if it turns out thats what youre having. (doesnt sound like it thouh) mine was because the EGR ports in the manifold were so coked nothing was coming through.
