I just realized yesterday while trying to pick someone up, that my drivers side door lock/unlock buttons do not work, I know they used to work and I don't use them enough to know how long it has been an issue. I reached across and the passenger side works just fine. All other buttons on the drivers side work just fine as well as my key fobs.
I was hoping some of you smart kids could let me know if there are some easy things to check, I don't consider myself even an "enthusiast" mechanic, although I did do the HPFP all by myself but that was maybe a difficulty level of 2 since it's just a couple bolts and right up front. I also swap my tires... Oh, and I mix my own e30, so I got that going for me.
Usually I take out my toolkit, a.k.a. wallet, to get it fixed.
