Drivers Side Door Won't Lock

My drivers side door will not lock with the key, pushing the lock down from the inside or with the keyless entry. Do you think it is the actuator or could some of the linkage be screwed up? Help!!

ya know, i've got the same problem, I actually think the lock mechinism is frozen on mine. My actuator works, i took the door apart and watched the plunger move, all the linkage is there, and it won't move. My little door lock pin thingy is in the down "lock" position, but it's always unlocked (so if you see my car, it's really always unlocked). Go and take the pannel off (not that hard to do ) and take a look at the lock mechinism and see what happens when you hit the lock/unlock button. Also see what happens when you pull on the door handle from inside the car (automatically/mechanically unlocks the door) just to see what happens. I've looked at mine, i think it's rivited on... so i'm in no hurry to try and fix it.... push comes to shove, take it in somewhere, or go to your friendly local junk yard! That's where i'm headed to soon!
