Hi,

I recently got my driver's side door replaced after it was sideswiped, and now the driver's side window is having problems. Every so often, the window will not move up or down, and will continue not to work for around five minutes. I usually try shutting off the car and turning it back on several times, and then finally it will work. The problem only happens once a week or so. Has anybody else had this problem? Anybody have any ideas on what the problem could be? The window never did this before the door was replaced.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

So, this is a totally different door? It's most likey an intermittent connection. You should check the main switch on the door. The whole thing pops out by undoing two screws. I'm thinking the contacts in the switch may simply need adjusting. Let us know what you find out.
