The previous owner had mentioned that someone hit in a parking lot and it must have broken the clip the holds it in on the end. Anyhow, the end of the trim sits up by about an inch. I tried to use body and trim adhesive but because of the slope of the door at that spot there will need to be a lot of bonding strength to keep that piece down. I'm trying to avoid spending $100 on a new piece too. Any ideas as to what will create a strong enough bond that your average Joe (me) can handle?

Edit, in English lol: The previous owner had mentioned that someone hit the door in a parking lot and the impact must have broken the clip in the end of the trim.

Geezuz.

For the amount of time and effort exerted thus far, you could've just purchased a new piece, replaced it, and be done with it.

Your time vested has a value to.

Plus, you and your SHO deserve it.

Spring for a new replacement my friend.
