I have a Garman GPS that I intend to mount near the consol tunnel on the passenger side. I have a PanaVise standoff from an old cell phone installation. I want to use it by putting some self tapping screws through the body. I don't have the desire or physical flexibility to just jump under and check it out.

Any experience or lessons learned in this area will be appreciated.

Thanks

Mounting it on the tunnel you will not have to worry about the screws running into anything but the exhaust pipe. I would check under the tunnel to make sure there isn't anything that will interfere, but the exhaust and rod shifter are the only things in that area.

Talk to Tom (offroadsho) in the Arizona SHO Club forum if you need a lift to put it on. Tom is a great guy who is always willing to help a SHO friend. Plus you can check out his "Other Woman" SHO-powered sandrail.
