Downpipes

Can someone explain the downpipe upgrade? I have a 2018 SHO PP. what brand is popular and how is the installation process. Is it a difficult install? What improvement would it make?

The factory pipe bend are restrictive. BUT. There are a few modes you need to do to take advantage of before you will see any gains out of the DPs.
1, Get a tune from AJP or GH and add a 3 bar map to the top of the intake. you will need to tell the tune about the 3 bar. And best to do colder plugs too. GH has a power pack with all of this and a colder T stat but you don't need the stat to make it work, it is a small benefit. I do like it in the summer as it turns on the fans earlier and I think it help the AC do better in the heat.
2, Drop in k and N filter or EPP intake.
3 Good 93 fuel. This can be done with non E 91 and 2 gallons of E85 if you don't have 93 on tap.
4, Then down pipes.
5 HpFp.
6 Bigger turbos along with IC.
This is the building blocks of this set up IMO.
