Just wondering how much of a pain it is going to be to install a double din head unit in a 93 dash. I have a single din in now, with the b/s coin holder tray below it. Who makes a mount for this, or one that is close enough to fab in?

It should fit fine, but securing is so it doesn't bounce around might present a challenge.

this is true as our cars present a lot of shaking in the dash.

OP try to use some butyl rope around the Double DIN sleeve when you put it in to secure it as best as you can.

you can find some good quality butyl rope here at a great price, I have used the stuff before and its awesome.

I’m putting in a jvc Kd x350 BTS In a 95 SHO I’ve heard if you have an enternal amp that you have to by pass stock amp. What do you consider and internal amp This is just an $89 head unit and I don’t think it puts out more than 14 watts a channel I also want to put in a soundsrream preamp equalizers has anybody tried this before I’ve got tooth correct wiring harness for the head unit Thanks for any help

I'm a weirdo and bypass everything and wire it fresh. Pretty easy to run wiring down both channels on the sides of the car to the trunk. But I also replace speakers etc.

I’m probably going to do this if I can’t get the sound I want to get.im going to try to put in a pre amp equalizer to the Ford amp.

If you're only doing a head unit I get it. I always wanted speakers that weren't oem and pretty old. The upside is it's easy to get door rattle if you remove the panels too hard. They are flimsy (really the worst I've ever dealt with vs other vehicles) and tend to bend in the middle and it's easy to break off old plastic tabs that hold retainers to the door etc.
