I know it sound strange.:nut: But my pass side front door has had problems opening from inside. It drives my wife crazy. One time it's fine, then the next its not. Now mine has started to act this way. I usually just pull on the handle again and give a good hard push on the door. One thing I have notice on the pass door is the handle seems to pull loosely almost 1/2 way out before any resistance is felt. Mine is doing this too now.... Is there a spring somewhere that took a dump or something? I've sprayed the latches and the door/catches are aligned properly....

It sounds liek the spring on the inside of your door broke or came off. I believe there is a spring that holds the handle in and this may be whats effecting your doors. Im not 100% sure abotu it though someone will probably chime in.:thumb:

The door handles are about ready to break. Once they break you will have to roll down the window and use the outside handle to open the door. The drivers side in my SHO did this. Relatively easy to replace, but you need to get a new inside door handle.....

the spring that holds/pulls the inner door handle back to its resting possition nearest the door panel will not cause any resistance to opening the door.

it can be a lot of fun unhooking and reattatching the push rods used in the door handle system. there is room for adjustment in the rods, you just have to pull your interior door panels and see whats going on.

SHOtimer could still be very well right also... the rods would not come out of adjustment under most normal circumstances, so it could be on the edge of breaking...you will know when you look.

if it is the door lock itself that does not want to unlock, then that is the problem i ran into. the latch itself was jamming in the locking assembly, and the actuator was dying too, not allowing the door to be unlocked, and therefore not being allowed to open. i replaced both the latch assembly and the actuator with good used parts from the j/y
