I had it in the dealer for diagnostics and they told me that it is the door lock module. Does anyone know what the part number is?

I was told by the service tech that it's in the driver's door panel, but my level of confidence after talking to him wasn't that great.

They wanted way too much $$$ to replace it along with my speaker that went out. I have an extended warranty but it doesn't pay more than $175/hr, shop fees/materials BS charges and it was going to cost me $582 out of pocket with warranty paying $706, that's $1,288 for one speaker and a module! Ridiculous/Rippoff! Both are located in the door panel. I'm sure they were staking the book hours by acting like they had to pull it apart and put it back together for each part.

So I plan on doing it myself.

Has anyone else run into this issue?

Good find. I sent him to Ebay to look because Lakeland doesn't have the part in stock.

They show they have it just under $200

Any recommendations on the swap of the part? Will I need to reprogram my Key Fobs?
Replace the module find a YouTube video that shows how to reprogram the keys to the remote entry.

I'm a little confused about reprogramming the key fobs to the module, will that affect my remote start and push button start?

So I replaced the module it's located in the doorpanel at 10oclock from the speaker and I now hear a clicking in the doorpanel, and behind the instrument cluster and glove box when I use the doorpanel buttons but they still do not lock/unlock.

Does anyone have experience with FORScan for diagnostics? I don't want to have to go to the other dealership near me to get it diagnosed and charged again. I'll never take my car to the previous one again.
