door sensors

is there any difference in the door sensor from a 92-94 model years? I replaced the front drivers door on my 92 with a door from a 94 and ever since the door ajar light stays on, the dome light shuts off its just an anoyying red light on the dash.

The switch for the door ajar light is in the latch. Not the same one as the interior light. Try a search there are quite a few threads about how to get rid of that light.
