My car (94 ATX) didn't come from with remote or keyless entry. The door locks will lock intermittently. This does not seem to be a problem unlocking, that feature always works. It is not the door switch, when they decide not to work, neither switch will activate them.
I am guessing that they are controlled by a relay or two. Anyone know the location of these relays? I had it in to a shop, the guy condemned the aftermarket Ford remote system I had installed, so I had this yanked. Problem still there.

I am to the point where I plan on just replacing all of the relays in the system. I just need to know where they are.
Thanks
Bill

There are no power door lock relays in the non-keyless entry cars. There is a Pink/Yellow wire that goes from the drivers side button to the passenger side button. Check that one for problems, if it's ok there is a Pink/Black wire that comes off the passenger lock button that goes to all the lock actuators, check that wire for problems. Those are the only 2 wires that could cause all the actuators to not work at one and for the unlock button to work all the time.
