Besides the PS pump itself (rockauto), what else should I get? Hoses? Clamps?

I don't want to get in the middle of this and end up having to wait 4 days for a part.

Also, how hard is it to do MM's? I don't race or anything so should I invest in upgraded mounts? I was going to pay to have the work done, but I figure I better learn. Did the front 60K, so I at least know how to use tools:nut:!

Any input is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks!

:rofl::rofl:

Yeah, I thought I might!

If I have somebody do the work, it's about $80-$100 labor, which is great, but, I just can't stand having anybody else work on her!

I've found it helpful to have 2 line wrenches. One long one to break the fitting loose of the pump and one that you've cut to about 2 1/2" long so that you can swing it more than 5° at a time.

2+ feet worth of extensions with wobble heads will help get that back bolt off.

And take out the rear mount before touching the PS pump. That, in it self, will help a lot.

How do I tell if the mount is bad when it's out? I've never messed with them.

Also, I'm assuming the reason for the MM coming out is so the motor can be jacked up a little bit, right?

some people prefer to lift the motor up a little to make it easier. I'd rather screw with as little stuff as possible.

if you don't have a set already you may want to buy a set of metric crowfeet.

I wasn't able to free the pressure hose from the pump on mine so I just cut the ***** off with a sawzall and replaced it.
