Dog Legs

[NH 95 SHO]

i asked this question on another SHO site and a few have NO idea what they are.
heres one answer...(In the SHO world no part is referred to as the dog leg)..REALLY.


the question is, are the 86 ta 91 dog legs the same as a 95?? i can find the gen1 ones but no the gen2's

Did you search the term on this board? That'll give you an idea.

Post a picture of the part or be more descriptive and you'll get an answer. In the 10+ years I've been on this forum, I've not seen anything referred to as a dog leg.

Yes, the term of dog leg is correct, Gen 1 and 2 share same dog leg and rocker panel... I have replaced them before.

This section circled is called dog leg.

The Dog Legs that i have heard of are the lower rear section of the rear door jambs. The sections directly in front of the wheel that tend to rust out in northern cars. If that is what you are referring to then yes, i believe Gen 1 Dog Legs can be used to repair Dog Legs on a Gen 2.
