Thought I'd share this story. I attempted to install new ASFB's from Brian King tonight. Got the driver side front done then proceeded to the passenger front. I knew my car probably didn't have the SF recall done. And I'm an idiot for not having one ready to go. Well now I have a subframe held on by 3 bolts since the passenger side wanted to freeze up. I was hoping I could do the rears but I couldn't get the body high enough to dislodge the top bushing. I don't know whether to drop it at the stealership and get ***** or find a recall kit and cut the bolt up and fish the top through the tiny hole in the body. If that doesn't work I'd be royally screwed!!! Don't see how a tech would do it any differently. My Tour is down so I have to drive the car. I guess very very carefully.

I just got mine in tonight, LOVE it! Sorry to brag. Good luck, I had trouble trying to get them in my red 92 along time ago, so I gave up!

Back in Michigan ... again.
Sorry, forgot to post after I moved the thread!

Todd is wondering just what all is involved in getting the subframe bolts out. He's got a lot of driving to do this weekend; I talked to him on the phone last night but couldn't help out much.

Well I dropped it at the dealer today. No open recalls on my particular car. It sounds like they were going to cover the work too. :squint: Well by the end of today I should have a better handling SHO and a lighter wallet.

They quoted me $210 to do the recall kit. Just told them to do the corner thats half out. Damn I hate dealerships! Guess I'll finish myself. The hard part will be done.
