on my 93 mtx superchargered i noticed while cleaning my valve covers that there is a thingamajig that has a hose coming off of it. i believe it is a pcv valse but i i dont really know. well the problem is that the hose coming off of this thing isnt connected to anything. i was wondering why it would be dissconnected. does anyone know if its cause of the supercharger? and should i reconnect it. and if so where does this hose go?

thanx corey.

You will have to leave it. You can't introduce boost to your PVC system. All your seals and what not will be blown instantly.

Not sure if you can just cap it. There needs to be a way to get blow by out of the engine.

This has been discussed numerous times in the past on blower cars. What I did on mine was to run 2 separate hoses to K&N Oil Breather Filters, one from the crank (the line that runs to the underside of the throttle body), and the other on the front cam cover. At the intake / throttle body, cap them off securely - you will be building pressure and unless they're on there good, you can pop them off.
