Disable auto locks??

Can someone tell me how to disable the auto lock function?? I hate having the doors lock on their own and I tried what I thought was the correct way to do it, but it does not work. The method I used was; key on - hit unlock 3 times, key off - hit unlock 3 times, key on - hit unlock 3 times, horn chirps but it does not disable this stupid thing!!!

there's a plug under the driver's seat you can unplug. IIRC, there's two seperate harnesses under there...one goes to the power seats, and the other one is a two wire deal that you can unplug.

Use the keypad to enter your 5 digit security code. Within 5 seconds press and hold the 7/8 button, then press 3/4

That'll turn autolock on or off

I just asked the same question on here about a month ago and here are the steps I received from Paul, which are 100% correct.

(1) Enter the five-digit permanent entry code into the keyless entry keypad.

(2) Within five seconds of entering the code, press and hold the 7/8 button on the keypad.

(3) Within five seconds of Step 2, and while holding the 7/8 button, press the 3/4 button on the keypad and release it.

(4) Within five seconds of Step 3, release the 7/8 button on the keypad.
