Well, bought some o2's from advanced auto and pulled the codes before putting them on. got a "running lean on bank 1 oxy sensor not switching." Switched the o2's out and no difference, i still have the lack of power, and the stumbling upon the first, first gear pull after start up.

I'm at my wits ends with this car, Hooked up fuel pressure gauge, fuel pressure is around normal. Plugs and wires are only 13k old if that. I haven't ran the codes since the new o2's have been put in, but i dont know where else to look, with no codes im just guessing in the dark. Awhile back i got this... "211 ignition PIP signal was erratic or missing"

Since then ive ran the codes twice and haven't gotten it again. Id like to try maybe the DIS or CPS but they're both pricey and im really getting sick of 100 dollar guesses. Is there anywhere else i can look? Its gotten to the point where i almost want to sell it. I don't like the fact that my 235k never 60k'd oil in the plug wells ATX pulls ******* my maintained MTX... I'm sure you guys get these posts all the time and I apologize, but who else better to ask... Ive searched countless threads, but when it comes to lack of power and hesitation everyones fix is different. (and from what ive seen usually something ive already replaced or checked.) :banghd:

Clean the MAF!!!! Been done, first thing i did after plugs and wires, cleaned with MAF specific cleaner, runs worse once unplugged.
Replace DIS module. How easy is it to replace? Rockauto its almost 100 dollars, so it aint cheap :)
New plugs and wires. Done, the problem was there before and right after replacement of plugs and wires.
Replace coil pack haven't even considered it...
Replace Crank Position Sensor and inspect/replace waterpump. What could the water pump have to do with it? leaky onto the cps?
Find and repair poor electrical ground. God i hope not...
Replace automobile. Just about there, mine as well drive a taurus GS, paying more in insurance for power thats not there.

PM RANGERJ and see if he will participate in this thread. He is a troubleshooter rather than a replacer.

Well for an update i swapped my maf for my cousins 94 atx maf. No change in performance/driveability that i could feel, which i figured, but it was worth a try, right? i've only gotten the "irratic spark signal" from the code reader one time, about 2 resets ago (i disconnect my battery to reset the codes everytime i read them)

I'll have a couple bucks to throw at it this thursday. anyone have suggestions?

how's your tach working? if not working properly, could be cam position sensor

As far as i can tell normally.

thanks guys.

check your timming ,your timming could have jump a tooth and if you never replaced your coolent temp senser, try that . iv seen these same simptems because of that and eventually that lead to the car dying and not starting again till i tracked the coolent temp senser problem down.
