I probably should of brought this up awhile ago, but a few months ago I had a deer run out in front of me and my first reaction was to avoid it, I did and then I over corrected and sent myself in a sideways slide into a ditch, the car took minor damage but both my foglight's were destroyed and my front bumper cracked as well as my condenser being bent in alittle, but ever since then my headlights have been dim, cars behind me on the highway light my path better, So I have no idea what the problem would be, like I said its been like this for about 6 months. I rarely drive at night and thank god for lighted roads when I do drive from work to my home.

just a idea but id say make sure none of your wires are pinched..........or even maybe partlly cut........and check to see that none of the connections got knocked loose

also... check how they're aimed? maybe they got knocked about and are aimed down at the road like 2 feet in front of you, or way high up in the sky.

could be ground issues. Check all the ground wires that screw into the rad support & frt frame rails=by air box & battery. There is one on each side that is part of the factory harness for the headlights. I added new ground wires from the body to the HL ground wire & saw an improvement in HL brightness. I also added a heavy ground wire strap from an Alt bolt to the frame rail!

Upgrading ground is a great idea. They do it in car audio all the time... it's called the "big 3" which is batt neg to chassis, block to chassis, and batt positive to alt pos... I would do it all in 4ga wire.... upgrading the wire harness to one from http://www.suvlights.com/ along with new bulbs will get it in top form... as for the fogs they just plain suck... replace them with a piaa set...

of course if you go full bore and do all of the above you're looking at say 300 bucks...
