I didn't buy my SHO for economy or ecology, and detested the EcoBoost badging. I made it one of my priorities to resolve it. This is the result. I'm sure I'm not the first to do this, but here's my result:

20181110 134412 20181110 134354

I carefully heated and removed the SHO emblem, which as you know, is attached to the EcoBoost badge. This requires cutting them away from each other in order to add the "3.5 Twin Turbo" badge. I used an Xacto saw blade from my hobby tools to do so. Nice clean cut. With some 3M double sided exterior tape, I affixed the new badging after careful measurements to ensure everything was centered and lined up. Total time...about an hour. It looks WICKED. I may do the same to the front grill. I treated the badging to a coating of Klasse which should keep everything protected and shiny til Spring.

and in keeping with the chrome of the SHO badge as well as the red of the taillights. Conservative yet very effective.

Thank you....yes that was the intent. It looks great (to me). I should add that, because of the curvature of the trunk, the badge needs to be given a slight bend/curve. Not difficult, as the badge is somewhat pliable. We'll see how resilient it is to the elements over the course of the Winter. If it doesn't hold up, I will get another and clear coat it.
