Hey all, had a small mishap a little while back. Went to activate the parking brake on my '95 MTX and had a *snap* and the pedal went straight to the floor. Upon further investigation, it was noted that the cable leading from the front of the car to the left rear had sheared at the ferrule located at the end of the cable, and was dragging along the road.

I've ordered a replacement cable from Rock Auto, and according to its listing ("67 7/8" Overall Length Rear Disc brakes; Front Disc brakes; Rear Left") it seems to be the proper cable, but I can't help but notice it looks quite a bit different from my current cable. In fact, I think this Dorman unit looks more similar to my current cable.

Have I ordered the correct cable or am I looking at a future return? Thanks in advance.

The Dorman cable you have listed is the cable that goes from the parking brake assembly, through the floor, then joins with the rear cables under the doors on the drivers side.

Can someone please provide the ENTIRE list of replacement brake cable parts for a 94 ATX? I have not been able to take mine apart for a side-by-side comparison.
I am confused as to the Raybestos part vs. the Wagner part vs. Dorman parts: (RockAuto). Any help would be appreciated!

*edit, I just ordered the following: Raybestos brand: part numbers were BC94588 and BC94589
