Yeah, I bumped my both idle rpm and in gear rpm by 100 rpm. It helped. I have about 4k miles on mine and I love them. One of the best mods you can do. The launch and the 1 -2 shift are outstanding now. In cabin noise is really cool as well.

This right here is one of my absolute favorite mods. Originally my 1-2 shift was so harsh that I would lose traction. These mounts have completely changed the way the car feels when accelerating. The shifts are firm and direct and normal day to day driving isn't harsh like solid mounts on other cars. If I could had done this mod right out the gate I would had.

This is why we need these upgraded mounts!!!

I originally purchased the gen 1 mounts he came out with last year and saw recently that he had revised and updated and contacted him about the newest revision he had. Well here they are! This is compared to the generation 1 mounts he made.

Now with grease fittings and a nice powder coat on it! Awesome little add ons from the originals. For being about two hundred bucks I can't recommend these things enough to anybody who wants to just make their car a bit more refined, increase launch traction, firm up those shifts and rip it down the road. (last part up to you)

You can contact the man who makes these on facebook or at [email protected]. His name is Anthony DiCunzolo

Added his fb photo so you can find him easier, let him know Jordan sent you.
Do you have his email or number?

That's part of why I got the Southside Machining mounts, no sketchy PayPal nonsense. Plus they made the mounts for Anthony originally and I've had their products on past cars too.

I've got SSM mounts on my car now, but I did buy a set of the AD mounts just to have as a back up in case anything ever happens.

I've had mine for a few months; I asked the Ford dealership to put them on when I had it in for inspection (best 50 bucks I ever spent since I don't have a lift). They are starting to loosen up a bit but there is still a noticeable vibration which I really don't mind. It actually makes it sound much meaner when in the drivers seat - the vibration feels like exhaust rumble to me. EDIT: I got mine directly from Anthony - quick, easy and they arrived in a few days.

If you're tuned, ask your tuner to bump your idle rpm by 50-100 RPM and that will mostly disappear.

Can the OP change the "GEN2" title to either GEN4 / GEN5......

Very misleading and confusing.

GEN4 = 2010 to 2012 model years.
GEN5 = 2013 to 2019 model years.

Thanks. It will help everyone seeing the title.

GEN2 is for the much older model year.

I know this is an old thread and this is my first post, but you sir are incorrect. 2010-2019 is 6th generation. Also I think it was clear to anyone reading the thread about the mounts knew he was talking about those being refined and being 2nd gen... Maybe you should change your sig since he had to change this? Maybe to something like "former world's fastest ecoboost S.H.O." especially since the OP had your time beat... LOL just sayin' 6th gen, get it right.

Not incorrect.

At all.

The designations were made by the National SHO Club, and all it's various Presidents over the years. For all of the GEN's. Better check your resources there Spartacus.

Nice try.

And I've consistently acknowledged those who have eclipsed my previous record.

Nice try x2.

Finally, I use Tapatalk to access the forums exclusively. Which, do not show sigs. So yes, that is an oversight.

2010 to 2019 is not Gen 6. There was never a Gen 6 SHO. How do I know. I've owned every Generation of the SHO. Here is the break down.

Gen 1 89 to 91 includes "Plus" model.
Gen2 92 to 95. 93 was the first year with automatic and 3.2
Gen3 96 to 99 Not the greatest SHO due to only automatic and cam failures

Gen4 2010 to 2012 First with 3.5 EcoBoost.
Gen5 2013 to 2019 2013 only year with Active Park Assit and PP together. As the model came to an end, they started taking options away.

Rough break down, but there it is.
