Just installed a set of these on my 14 PI. About a 45 minute job (It took about 15 minutes to discover that the front mount that was hidden under the skid plate - LOL).

Immediately noticed that the engine sounded a little more "rumbly" inside (no appreciable change to the sound on the outside). Noticeable vibration in the steering wheel, but I really only feel it at idle sitting at a light for instance - once I take off, I don't feel it again until stopped again.

Drive-ability is awesome, definitely worth the $200. Thanks Anthony for the quick shipping!

Title updated. Someone should have tagged me in it a while back. I'm not in the gen4/5 stuff enough.

I'd prefer it say Version 2 if possible. That's the whole idea of it being called the generation 2 mounts as they are updated. It's not about the generation of SHO they are for. Thanks!

I messaged him through his email account on Friday and pretty much got an immediate response. Has them in stock. Mine just arrived today and I am super impressed. Can't wait to get these things onto the car... if what I'm hearing about them is true, they should all but eliminate my wheel-hop on launch and when shifting from 1st to 2nd. Will be drag testing them out this weekend.

Just hoping it doesn't provide an obnoxious vibration. The 2018 only has one mount and am told because of that there shouldn't be anything significant.
Just an fyi don't judge the harshness off of first drive. I doubt you'll have any complaints though running just one. I run both and have barely noticeable vibes only when idling around

Nice! Now install it and give us some feedback!
Initial reaction is that there is certainly more vibration in the steering wheel and the car in general under 3k rpm. It's not terrible and my understanding is that it may lessen after some miles. Mine is an 18 so it only has the one mount. It does seem to smooth out the 2-3 shift. Hard to tell about better grip because I have winter tires on it now and they spin.

What was the cost for just the rear mount?

I just installed mine today. There was some steering wheel vibration noticed (nothing too terrible), and I have my idle raised to 700rpm (AJPTurbo tuned... his tunes allow you to adjust certain things, idle speed is one of them). However, I have read that most of the vibration will go away over time. After a few hundred miles, I will report back. This car is my wife's daily commuter, and I feel her input will be in touch with the pickiest of drivers.

Will be taking the car to the drag strip tomorrow morning. Temps are looking good (DA is in the -1500ft range currently), and before the mounts (and E30 tune) I was pulling mid-low 1.8 60fts with wheelhop. Hope to see an improvement.

Well, back to the drawing board.

Still got wheel hop at the dragstrip. In fact, it seemed to have gotten worse. I believe this is due to the extra power from the E30 tune, and not because of the mounts. Had to baby the launch or it would hop so bad i felt like it was hurting the car. Best 60ft I could get while taking it easy was a 1.91. Anything harder than that and I would have to let off the throttle.

Car did run a new best of 12.58 at 112mph... but with that kind of trap speed, I should be in the bottom 12s, had I been able to put the power to the ground effectively.

Any suggestions?

Did you adjust air pressure in the tires?
