DiCunzolo GEN4/5 Upgraded Trans Mount Review!

This right here is one of my absolute favorite mods. Originally my 1-2 shift was so harsh that I would lose traction. These mounts have completely changed the way the car feels when accelerating. The shifts are firm and direct and normal day to day driving isn't harsh like solid mounts on other cars. If I could had done this mod right out the gate I would had.

This is why we need these upgraded mounts!!!

I originally purchased the gen 1 mounts he came out with last year and saw recently that he had revised and updated and contacted him about the newest revision he had. Well here they are! This is compared to the generation 1 mounts he made.

Now with grease fittings and a nice powder coat on it! Awesome little add ons from the originals. For being about two hundred bucks I can't recommend these things enough to anybody who wants to just make their car a bit more refined, increase launch traction, firm up those shifts and rip it down the road. Barely noticeable honestly. Only really notice then when in drive at a stop and really just feel it in the steering wheel. Driving feels normal. I'd say very minimal overall difference in nvh

Can the OP change the "GEN2" title to either GEN4 / GEN5......

Very misleading and confusing.

GEN4 = 2010 to 2012 model years.
GEN5 = 2013 to 2019 model years.

This is the second version of the original upgraded transmission mounts, so technically speaking he's correct. I think clarifying at the start of the post that this upgrade is specifically for '2010-2019 SHOs would easily curb any confusion. Or change out "GEN2" to say "Revised" and then start the post off clarifying the years it's for.

@Jordan_R - What is the ballpark cost on this upgrade?

I am mistaken. Under the thread tool, you are able to edit the title. I do know for a fact that there are certain privileges that are unlocked with post counts.

Yes like I said it's more problematic here on this particular community because it caters to all of the model years, so in turn you will have older generation vehicle owners being equally as confused.
