Hey Everyone,
Lately I have noticed my car has a slight vibration at high speeds (50+). It feels like it is coming from the front. My first thought was tire balancing. I rotated and balanced the tires and it is still there.

The weird thing is on a hot day, the vibration almost goes completely away. Therefore, I am trying to think of what else could be causing the vibration. Has anyone had this issue? I am thinking maybe a wheel bearing, but not sure. I know the sway bar bushings are shot on mine, but I wouldn't think that would cause it. If you have any ideas, I would appreciate it.

thanks much!

At this point, anything is possible. However, I am guessing that is an inside joke! Oddly enough, it wasn't good enough to get a response from JRuddy as I think that was the intent of the comment!:laugh_ti:

Possibly a wheel bearing.. How is the braking? Smooth? Pulsing? Noisy?
hehe, I said pulsing...:laugh_ti:
A bad wheel bearing can cause a squeal when reversing, pulsing brake pedal,
lower mileage, low speed hesitation, etc.

I had a vibration in my SHO for the longest time and I rebalenced my tires so many times and i always checked my front end and I could never find the problem. I just assumed I had a bad wheel. While I was doing all new brakes in my car I decided to replace both rear wheel bearings and after i took the car for a 300 mile trip and there was no vibration even at 110 mph. I did notice that one of my rear wheel bearings had a tiny bit of play in it before I replaced it.

best advice would be to jack up the car and grab your tires and try to wiggle them from every point around the tire

see were the play is at if any :thumb:
