defrost vents...

With the a/c and heat controls OFF, I still get warm air (from engine compartment heat I suppose) that comes up through the defrost vents at the base of the windshield. Is this normal? Or are my vents stuck open?

Happens to me so often I have deemed it as normal. After almost every pass on the track it blasts warm air in, fogs the window and I cant see :shakehead

Same thing happens to me, I have no clue what it is though. Blend door or mabe the vents i guess?
