Daytime running light module

Hey all,

I was wondering where the location of the daytime running light module is. I have to install it from my '92 into my '93 to pass Canadian inspection.

On my '97 it was directly under the battery tray. I had to go from underneath the car to change it. I don't know if the V6's were any different.

The V6 mounting is in a different place than the V8s. I sent you an email that should help.

It is directly under the air filter box.

The screws holding it on are probably rusted too, which sucks.

Rusted screws = headbang

The center screw for my battery tray was so rusted out that I ended up cutting it off w/ a grinder. The stupid thing had chemically become one with the battery tray and cost me 30 minutes worth of work before I finally sliced it...

It is near the A/C accumliator. Left front behind the radiator. My son-in-law just replaced mine (shorted out). His cost $55.00 american.

You don't really need it to pass Canadian inspectons. I past my SHO without it. I just put some electric tape over the sensor that is on the driver's side of the dash. Viola, lights always on.
Ofcourse i took the tape out when the inspection was done..
