Is it possibly a little easier pulling the whole dash harness to assemble it back into the new dash or is it best leaving it in the car?

I left mine in the car and just took it out of the dash. Label it and take pictures, reinstallation isnt bad.

and I've always pulled the harness with the dash, because I thought that was easier.

I think you'll get about 50/50 opinions on that one.....

Yeaah ill try it inside of the car.. right now im just dealing with some other issues.. the part were the blend door goes in that opens and closes the door for the heater box is a little cracked.. was looking for the thread with the fix for that...

also the blend door actuator can you physically turn it by hand?(just curious) It looks like it was replaced before.. along with the evaporator core.. the box was all cut up in that section.

I have done it both ways. If you have an extra person to help with the harness routing through the firewall I would vote for pulling the harness with the dash. When you do it that way you don't have to remove any of the stuff out of the dash.
