Dash Recondition and lubing and moisturizing

Anybody know the best way to clean and condition a dash that has been sitting in storage for a while? its a 90 dash. Lexol?

Soapy water, scrubbing brush and cloth, and a shop-vac to suck water and dirt back out of the cracks.

To give it a newer look, a silicone-based protectant, such as Armor-All low shine. Shinier hard trim can be car waxed. Tire foam with a cloth if you want the ridiculous used car dealer detail look.

Plastic doesn't need the nourishing oils of leather conditioner. In fact, neither does the automotive leather, unless you can get to the backside to moisturize it, since it is finished with a plastic-like coating.

My gen 3 dash is lifting up around the gauge cluster looks like it shrank and separated from sitting in the weather for the past few years. What can I use to soften it back up. So I can glue it down. I just bought the car and want to bring it back.

This is a materials and or design defect. Every single one has this issue eventually. There were old posts with adhesive and different clamping methods which had a spectrum of effectiveness. Mostly not very. I tried once or twice when I owned my GenIII but not very successful for me. It just wants to pull back off the plastic naturally
