Okay, I went to the site and here's what I copied for the itinerary:
__________________________
ok, i found out that ennis won't open for street nights on fridays till mid march. so instead, we'll be heading to the 1/8th mile in denton. running starts at midnight.
here are the specific times.
Feb 15th.
5-6pm meet up at my house. call me for directions (972-733-3238)
when everyone gets here, 6:30 maybe, go to Dave and Buster's near (sorta) my house for food and games. 2601 Preston Road near the collin creek mall.
at 11pm we head up to denton. this will get us there in plenty of time. last time we were there till about 2am, so expect the same.
Feb. 16th
9am for those 2 of you staying with me, we can go wash our cars so they're cleaner than everyone else's
10am dyno'ing starts. for those of you not staying at my place, which is almost everyone, we will meet at intercrew. i need a roll call of everyone that plans to dyno so they will have some idea of how long we will take. it is $50 for 3 runs. i'll start up another post for this. i anticipate being done there around mid afternoon. 2-3pm. from there, we go eat, then head to speedzone for the karts, dragsters, and whatever else they have.
then around 9pm, crash chase and lance's house for some hockey and madden. hope your parents are ok with that
that's about it. i do need to know also if anyone is coming from out of town so we can accomodate you. this is the schedule as it stands now, but i'll keep everyone updated if there are any changes. this is gonna be a blast guys!!
_______________________________

He said that the running starts at midnight for the 1/8th mile track, that's wrong. I'm hoping I'll be able to get them to go up to the track in Denton earlier than that. I'll post in there and see what I can do. Some people may not wanna' start running that late. This is the schedual so far, though guys. Call and ask for directions if you need to, or just meet everyone at Dave & Busters around 7 probably. Good luck getting there guys. Should be fun. Oh, and if we have more than 15 people, it should be $40 for 3 runs. Post if you're going for sure! Try one post per person so it's a little easier to decipher, but if you gotta' post twice, not a big deal. Later guys.

The SHO and the 1/8th-mile do not equal great times. With an average of 2.3-second 60 ft. times, most mtx SHO's will be hard-pressed to get well into the 9's.

I'll own those Probe's in the 1/8th.

I would hope I can crack into the 9's, as my 97 V8 SHO runs 9.5's or better all day long, I would think my MTX 90 could do better than that.

I just don't want to rub any of the PT guys the wrong way, since they were nice enough to invite us.

I'm not doing anything that is not justified or wanted. I'm simply making suggestions that other people are liking actually.

For instance, I told them that the track opens at 6pm. Many people jumped in immediately and said, "Why don't we go earlier? 2am is really late to be out."

And the only other thing I've suggested is that we try the Dyno at Speed Works instead because it's closer to the guy's house in Plano and it's cheaper and it's a nicer Dyno setup with adults running it instead of kids.
smile.gif
That's all. And they are only suggestions. I'm not throwing weight around or doing anything that I would qualify as telling other people what to do or being pushy...anything like that. I'm just trying to throw out ideas that others will like and that will better accomidate the people's time and money. Most people have not been opposed to my suggestions so far, so I see anything wrong with it. Besides, the guys planning it would say something if they were upset. And they're welcome to, I don't mind. I'm just trying to get everyone a good deal that's all.

I'm sure you have nothing but the best intentions, because you just seem like a nice guy like that.
But since this doesn't really seem to be going anywhere
