Ok. I've searched this first but seems like I couldn't find the right answer.

I'm replacing struts and strut mounts. I had to remove LCA from knuckle to remove struts. While I was doing it, I pulled the spindle a little bit far outward(I could see the cv joint inner boot stretched out). After I remove the strut from one of the knuckles, I put the spindle back on the ball joint and it seems fine. There's no oil leaks or anything. I wonder there's no problems at all. I can't do any turning hard or anything since I don't have spring compressor yet and I'm also scared of putting new strut back in. I'm wondering it should be fine?

Thanks guys.

Sounds like you left something out when you put it back together? I'm confused.. no compressor yet? still got the old struts in? You can stretch those boots usually, as long as it moves around freely, its ok more than likley. I pulled my boot in half once when I got ****** off... poped it back into place, and drove it for a week before i got a replacement.. :)

I did the same thing you did, broke a CV axle trying to change struts. I didn't notice it until I had everything back together and I tried to back the car out... no go!

I would recommend shaking the CV axle around a little bit to see if you hear any bearings loose in there. Make sure it still has its full range of movement in there. Try to twist it; if the boot starts twisting it's shot. If the whole axle spins, then you should be good.

I'll try to twist it tomorrow and see if the whole axle spins. =]
I was trying to get a strut back today and it was pain of butt! I also scretched ball joint rubber part a little bit. It took about 2-3 hours to get one strut back.
