I am just confirming before I make a mistake! Thanks Randy...ps since I cut one in the front should I do one or just half off in the rear? thanks Randy

I think you cut the top coils, but don't quote me on that. Also I cut one coil out of my fronts and cut NONE out of the rear, and the car sits very evenly and looks great. So my personal opinion is if you are going to cut it, cut half out, and if you really want more, take it out and cut it again, but once its off, its off.

You want to cut the dead coils... i.e. the ones that just sit on top of each other, aka the bunched up end. If you cut a coil off the live end (the other side), you will take a lot of compliance out of the ride, and it will very negatively affect your ride quality and the safety of the vehicle. Eibachs are already lowering springs; I wouldn't cut more than a coil off of them.

Don't even cut them if you want the rear lower. Just lower the strut in the knuckle. If you cut them you are reducing your strut travel.

If you do cut them, you want to cut the coils that are wound very close together.
