Is it fully warmed up when this happens...if trans is not up to operating temps it will try and hold a gear longer, thus under a wot condition you'll get missed shifts.

Have you changed the fluids in your trans & PTU yet?

Mike, what RPM is it trying to shift at? Could it be going too high and hitting the limiter?

Firstly, TY Rich.

Secondly, As the weather and especially ground get colder the TQ MGT system will step in more harshly and w/more frequency. So if the car senses any type of unsafe condition or driver input like wheel spin under load or drifting it will wait until there is a safe situation to shift. The thing to remember is that you are driving a computer. It is not your old machine anymore.

It shifts at around 5800-6000 but right at about 5,000 the rpm just starts going up and down until it shifts. Was doing it every time I floored it on the way down to work today pulls strong then right when it gets to high rpm starts cutting out, but if I use the paddle shifts and shift at 5,000 it won't do it but then I'm losing power if I do that I don't know if maybe a coil is going out or what

OK Mike, that is not too high assuming it is fully warmed up. I was just throwing out an idea but the rev limiter shouldn't apply until much higher.

Sounds like a fueling or spark issue to me...

I'd try taking the tune off and running stock to see if it still happens.
