Does anybody know who had the white 1st gen with the holes cut out in the bumper for the exhaust tips? That looked bad ass, and I want to talk to that person to get some measurments. I saw the picture of the car on a SHO club website (can't remember which one) a few years back... If any of you old timers remember who had this car, let me know. Thanks...

I believe it could of been drivnhard????? But it wouldn't be white though.

For some reason that came to my mind first, I remember sombody posting those pics around Christmas???

The problem with cutting the bumper is it looks unfinished when done, due to the sharp edge.

What I've done is lower my mufflers and have the pipe come straight out, with an angle cut. Kinda 5.0ish

I think it was Nook`s on www.shoacop.com ,but the website is long gone. That look is pretty outdated,it was big in the 5.0 crowd for a while.I think it`s Ryan Kuchar who also has it done.

Actually Its me who has it done, and it doesn't make the car look unfinished at all... Sorry Jason I got your email, but haven't had time to reply yet. Anyways, check out the website for some pics.

Hey Ryan, I checked out that website for some pics, and I saw a silver gen I and a white gen I, but neither has the modification that I'm thinking of. The pic I saw was of a white gen I and the guy cut a 3" hole in each side of his rear bumper, and had a 3" tip resting inside each hole. Looked kinda like a Mustang Cobra or Saleen setup...

I was refering to checking out the pictures I had of my car, since I have cut out the holes in my bumper for the exhaust. There are 2 other cars like this I know of. A white 91 plus, owned by Nook, of prosuspension.com, he has the exact some setup as mine. And a guy named Mike Bridges I believe, who has a champayne colored 89, with 3 inch holes, too big i think, but still looks nice. I have no contact info for mike.

Hmm... So did you just take it to a body shop, and have them cut the holes and kinda guesstimate where the exhaust was gonna come out?
